A man
accused of killing a family of 5, a mother and four children, is set to be
arraigned on murder charges NYPD officer Christopher Pisano said.
Mingdong Chen, 25, told officials
about his stabbing spree on Saturday. Chen said he used a butcher’s knife which
was retrieved from the apartment where the crime took place.
Police are working to figure out what
could have set off Chen who was staying with the family for about a week.
Chen has no criminal record in New
York City, but he was charged with first degree murder and four counts of
second degree murder as well as criminal possession of a weapon.
Chen also assaulted an officer who was
attempting to arrest him.
I like how the author grabbed the reader’s
attention with the title. The angle was to make is seem as Chen was a crazy psychopath
killer because what caused him to kill the family is unknown.
